The Frosty Valley Country Club was the setting for our gala golden class reunion.  Staff members truly outdid themselves and made us feel welcome. Additionally, they added orange and purple banners to the ceiling enhancing our decor.   

Evidenced by the chatter and laughter, everyone had a great time. Some expressed their regret for never having attended a past reunion.

We were our old selves and it was great to see everyone again; in particular those we haven't seen in maybe 50 years!  And, especially, our former teachers who attended.  It was just a delight to have them with us.


As we have entered life in its slower of paces we would like to redeem the time by having an annual picnic.  OR, perhaps a picnic mid-reunions, say in 2012. We would like your feedback. Gretchen's Green Get-together Invitation

(we call our group the Slippery Six after a discussion on the old automobile gear shift!)  Were we thinking OLD do you suppose?

On February 18, 2010 the "Slippery Six" met for lunch and gab at the Pine Barn Inn.  Attending were~Mary Beth Walls Morris, Kathleen Renninger Radspinner, Kay Stetler Derr, Elaine Hause Long, Betty Ann DeSantis Huber & Gretchen Hagy Kennedy.  

Next luncheon will be at Tom's Restaurant in Catawissa with lunch at noon, visiting at 11:00 AM (while we wait to be seated)   So come whenever you can.  Men are always welcome!  Don't know why you guys are so shy! (did I say that? I never knew any of the boys to be terribly shy before! )  Click on the link below for directions and info about Tom's Restaurant.
